Welcome
Library-for-Liberia is an educational project of the Rural Liberian Healthcare and Development Initiative (RLHDI). RLHDI is a private, voluntary, non-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that seeks to provide assistance in Liberia’s healthcare and public education sectors for the people of Liberia.
Mission
The mission of Library-for-Liberia is to improve the quality of life for the Liberian children by providing books and reading resources that enhance the literacy rate of the children. Special emphasis is placed on supporting student’s at all academic levels and on stimulating young children’s interest and appreciation for reading and learning. The library resource rooms will serve as a learning and educational center for all children of the community.
