We believe in the positive transforming power of education
and learning to empower children. Helping the Rural Liberian
HealthCare and Development Initiative (RLHDI), a
Massachusetts 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, to build and
supply the first public library in Liberia with vitally
needed text books will uplift the lives of some of the
poorest children in the world. One child at a time, with
your help, we will provide a lifetime of opportunities for
constructive growth and learning. Your help will also help
ensure a lasting peace for Liberia who has recently emerged
from a brutal 14 year civil war through the courageous
actions of this nation’s women and peace loving citizens.
|
Organize a local book drive with your family, friends, local
schools, religious institutions, community agencies, and
libraries and donate the collected books and donations to
the RLHDI.
Volunteer your time and talents to help us organize, sort,
store and ship our books to Liberian school children.
Adopt a beloved subject area and make a commitment to
helping build this section of the library.
Commit to helping us spread the word to friends, family, and
neighbors who may have an interest in helping our
organization build this library.
-
Leave a lasting legacy in your will that will name our
agency as the beneficiary of books your heirs may not care
to keep.
Share with us your ideas and suggestions how we can improve
our marketing and solicitation efforts to the public so we
can build and furnish the first public library in Liberia.
